Mary Hawkins Psychology offers professional psychological and counselling services for individuals, couples and families in the Wollongong region.

Mary Hawkins, BSocSc (Psychology)(Honours), Grad Dip Psychology, Dip Somatic Psychotherapy.

Mary has worked both in private practice and with organisations such as Relationships Australia and Interrelate Family Services offering both individual and family counselling and group programs.

Mary’s training includes Somatic Psychotherapy (body integrated psychodynamic therapy), Family Systems Therapy, Emotion Focussed Therapy, Schema Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.   Mary has extensive experience working with early childhood trauma, sexual abuse, and post traumatic stress disorder.  Mary also has specialist evidence-based training and experience in working with personality disorders such as Borderline Personality Disorder and Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Mary is an accredited Tuning Into Kids and Tuning Into Teens facilitator, and ran Relationship Education and a variety of Parenting Courses for Relationships Australia and Interrelate Family Centres for more than 10 years.

Mary is a Registered Psychologist with AHPRA and a clinical member of the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi).
